After another successful installation and upgrade at Lesotho High Court, Digital Voice Processing has received a positive letter of reference from the Registrar of High Court and Court of Appeal, Maseru, Lesotho, Ms. Pontso Phafoli.
Quoted from the letter,
This letter serves to confirm that Messrs Digital Voice Process (Pty) Ltd of Durban, South Africa were contracted to upgrade the VIQ digital court recording and transcription systems at the High Court and Magistrates Court in Maseru complex of the Kingdom of Lesotho in 2019. This follows their installation of the systems in 2014.
The Courts Complex at Maseru comprises 19 courtrooms of which 12 courts were upgraded with latest version of VIQ Satellite court recording software and a new Court of Appeal was established. They were all linked to a Control Room containing 3 Mid Tier servers and the Central Content Server all of which were also upgraded to the newest version of VIQ server software. Members of the Lesotho Judiciary’s IT staff were given refresher training in the use of the system as were new operations staff.
The system is functioning to our expectations and we are fully satisfied with the products supplied and the service we have received since 2014.
Our choice of Digital Voice Processing of Durban was based not only on their performance but also on their track record in various other jurisdictions, backup service, training, integrity, reliability and quality. With hindsight the same choice would remain as our preference…
We at Digital Voice Processing pride ourselves on quality service and customer support, and thank Ms. Pontso Phafoli and the Lesotho High Court for the positive reference, and for the opportunity to be involved in the upgrade of their system.
