On 4th March, 2019, we started the upgrade project for Lesotho High Court, Palace Of Justice and Court Of Appeal.
A project that had been in discussions for more than a year, was finally awarded to Digital Voice Processing, and a 2 man team, made up of Roy Esterhuizen and Kyle Ragunath, headed the project on site.
The upgrade included updating the existing VIQ Court Recording System installed by Digital Voice Processing in 2014. Now overdue for an upgrad, new pc’s were provided by a local dealer, sporting more up to date operating system and hardware.
The Digital Voice Processing team installed the latest version of VIQ Satellite court recording software, and server software, as well as setting up a whole new Court of Appeal system, which also included new microphone system, supplied by Digital Voice Processing.
Besides the software side of the upgrade, Digital Voice Processing, supplied and assisted with the installation of Bosch amplifiers and speakers for 13 of the courts.
The upgrade took a little over 2 weeks, and though offering a few challenges along the way, was met with enthusiasm and professionalism by the individual teams, and was completed and signed off.
Included in the installation was a Service Level Agreement, offering the client piece of mind that any support required will be met.
